Stanford University is a private research university in Stanford, California.

I plan to apply to Stanford University because It is not to far and not to close to home.

I have never attended a private school before and It would be awesome if I were to go to stanford.

Major: Biomedical Engineering

Biomedical engineering is the application of engineering principles and design concepts to medicine and biology for healthcare purposes.

Biomedical engineering focuses on the advances that improve human health and health care at all levels.

Steps i'm already taking to achieve this goal is :

    Having a good GPA
    AP Classes
    Volunteering at different places in Oakland
    Practicing presentations

MIT is a private research university in Cambridge, Massachusetts

I want to go to MIT because it is one of the top schools in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)

Also because it is out of state

I want to go to UC Berkeley because It is close to home and they also have an excelent biology and Biometical fild.

I want to go to UC Berkeley because they are one of the top best schools in California.
